We are currently seeking a OSP Field Detailer to join our operations in a contract term position.
The role will be based in the field but will have an office/ administrative component to it as well. Also, this position may require attendance at some in–house training and meetings.

- Collection and verification of field data using GPS Survey Equipment;
- Process survey data using CAD & GIS programs;
- Take photos to supplement the data collection using provided equipment and software;
- Ensure accurate plans are generated from information gathered in the field;
- Maintaining company standards for mapping/ network designs;
- Know and follow all safety protocols established by provincial governments, industry and VistaCare.
- Willing to travel to project locations for up to 3 weeks at a time;
- Attention to detail;
- Ability to work very well within a team or independently when required;
- An interest in working in the field environment;
- Ability to walk extended periods of time on varying terrains;
- Willingness to carry equipment into and out of the field;
- Flexibility with schedule;
- Strong organization and problem-solving skills;
- Excellent time management;
- Demonstrated written and oral communications skills in English are required;
- Must be able to work in all weather conditions;
- Must be Proactive and Self-motivated.
- Required to have reasonable driver abstract;
- Valid Class Drivers License;
- The successful candidate will be required to pass a criminal record check;
- The successful candidate must be authorized to work without visa sponsorship required.
- At least 1 year of telecommunications experience is preferred or demonstration of competency;
- Experience with GPS data collection or surveying is asset;
- BS Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, or Structural background is an asset;
- Knowledge of pole standards and survey requirements per province or state is an asset;
- Good experience with MS Office 365;
- Experience in Katapult is an asset.
- Compensation is commensurate with experience and skill level;
- Compensation is paid out every week on Thursdays;
